Our Story
SDA People Partners was named after Hyacinth’s three daughters—Sabrina, Dionna, and Airyauna—the inspiration behind her work and the foundation of the company’s values. “SDA” also reflects the essence of what we do:

Hyacinth Morrison
Founder
Hyacinth has spent more than 20 years in C-Suite and senior HR leadership roles across insurance, education, banking, airlines, manufacturing, food & beverage, and consumer packaged goods. She also has experience supporting startups and emerging businesses—building HR infrastructure, compliance systems, and foundational talent practices.
With more than 40 years of total HR leadership experience, Hyacinth brings global perspective (including international experience in England), deep operational insight, and a calm, grounded presence that helps leaders navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.
She is known for her authenticity, compassion, and ability to hold both empathy and accountability—helping leaders show up with purpose, courage, and intention.
